COLD!! 10 degrees!
The view of the Salthouse dock, a part of the Port of Liverpool. It's so nice to walk by here, but not in the rainy season. It was so cold and windy, i could'nt even feel my hands..... - numbed!
The Albert Dock, the most famous dock here in Liverpool. This dock is surrounded by buildings which are mostly bars, restaurants, and museums, museums like Tate, which is an art gallery and museum. I did'nt go into Tate yet though, it opens only during the day. ;(
We had to stand behind the barrier against the wind, but to no avail.. -.-
argh.. so cold!! i can still feel it now!
Duh!
Just opened.. it's like a hugeee shopping area, a modern one that is, not like the city... but i prefer the city shops.. much more cheaper as well.. hehehe.
Cheers,
Ching.
First day at Royal Liverpool Hospital
He briefed us abit about everything.. from clinical skills here, to what we learn back in IMU, to the lifestyle here. We did our case presentation to him, and it became the first ever time i've been so interested in a class.. shockingly.... it goes with somebody presenting the case, and he'll be like asking questions related to it.. and i dont know why, it makes me wanna know more, and wanna read more. study more! ARGH!!! i have so lil knowledge.. :(
Hes in his 50s, but still looking confident and smart. Well, we'll be meeting him for quite abit this one month.. looking forward to them..
Bottom people are Ai Ai, Hui Lin, Troy, Sharmaine and Li Shan. Ai Ai and Hui Lin and LiShan are our seniors, a batch ahead of us, but they will join us here in 3rd year :)
That afternoon we had clinical skills practice with Mr Steve Hughes, who is a nurse and a clinical skills trainer. He is soo kind and pleasant. We had to do Venepuncture...to dummys.. and it was scary already, next week we're gonna practice venepuncture on real patients. OH MY GOD!

Flying...
Messiness in the hall... this is just half of them actually.
Ok, now since its all already settled, i shall tell u what i had been thru this week.
I had so much problems with my visa ye know? i didn't tell anyone of u guys, cos i was tooooo worried about it. My visa got rejected. and u know why? bloody shit... because i didnt give the July bank statement..... =.= i just handed up the April, May, June. and the refused the visa because they wanted the MOST CURRENT BANK STATEMENT. it was just beginning of the month of August la com on...... i was damn frustrated. and so i asked SAD charmaine for help, she introduced me to Hira, the MSL guy, the one who gave us the talk in IMU. yeah, he told me to reaaply... ;( so there it goes.. another RM 664.... and i applied on Monday, as in The week of my flight on friday.... crazy shit ey?
i waited the whole week.... Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri... hoping that the visa wil take 4-5 days. But on Friday, the day of my flight, it was still not yet ready to be collected! I thought it was the end.. i had to postpone my flight already. But lucky, Hira again, he called THE BRITISH HIGH COM directly!!! I was the luckiest girl alive, my visa was actually already approved, just it was not printed out yet. SO i went directly to British High Com, collected my VISA from the guard, which took just 5 minutes. efficientnya! better than goin to NFS. ;p and it was ALL settled......
AH! relieved...everyone was relieved, especially my mum and sis.i can finally leave Malaysia with Troy and Sharmaine.....
I can't imagine leaving to UK ALONE!
